We only collect personal information which you submit voluntarily, e.g. as part of a contact request, registration or newsletter subscription request.

Our website is naturally encrypted to provide the best possible protection for your data.

All personal information which you provide to us during your visit to our website will only be collected, processed and used for the stated purpose. We ensure that these processes only take place in compliance with the applicable statutory legislation and/or with your consent.

Use of Facebook social plugins

Our website uses social plugins (hereinafter “plugins”) of the social network site, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). These plugins can be identified by a Facebook logo or “Facebook Social Plugin” tag.

When you access a page of our website that contains one of these plugins and click the Facebook logo or tag (“button”), your browser sets up a direct connection to Facebook’s servers. The plugin content is transferred directly from Facebook to your browser, where it is integrated into the website.

Two-click activation for more data protection. When you click the plugin button, your browser activates the button and sets up a direct connection to Facebook’s servers as described above. The button is not active unless you click it. Your first click of the button therefore informs Facebook that you consent to transmission of your data to Facebook.

By activating the plugin, you inform Facebook that you have opened the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can associate your website visit with your Facebook account from the moment you activate the plugin – even if you do not click the Facebook button a second time. When you interact with the plugins by clicking “Like” or posting, your browser transmits this information directly to Facebook, where it is stored.

Even if you do not have a Facebook account, Facebook can save information about you, such as your IP address. Please consult Facebook’s data use and privacy policy for information about Facebook’s purposes and scope of data collection, its further processing and use of the data, and your associated privacy rights and settings.

If you do not want Facebook to collect your personal data via our website, please ensure you log out of Facebook before visiting our site. You can also install blocker plugins for your browser.
